Healthcare Industry is one of the most information intensive industries in the U.S. It also is an important segment of the American economy accounting for about 18% of the GNP.

Investments in Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) is seen as the crucial next step to both reduce costs and improve the quality of medical care. This has opened up a demand for IT/IS professionals in the Healthcare field. This panel will help you provide an overview of this complex industry and help you navigate career opportunities in HIT.
